Routes For All/ Focus West

The Routes for All element is orgranised through a partnership between Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of the West of Scotland.

The Programme is tailored to support pupils who are thinking about continuing their education beyond school and applying to higher education courses. It has been developed to give pupils the necessary tools to succeed in their journey towards post-school education, preparing them to make the transition from school to college or university. It does this by means of delivering short one-hour workshop style sessions throughout S5 and S6, which pupils participate in at school.

The programme of activities utilises college staff, student mentors (from both colleges and universities) as well as the Routes for All staff to ensure that pupils are as well informed as possible about the various post-school routes available to them. We support our pupils throughout the decision making process to ensure that they move on to positive post-school destinations that are appropriate for them.
